The BMW iX and i4 electric cars are set to land in Ireland this November and the German firm is rightly excited!

BMW says the iX will feature a model-specific drive sound with authentic response to acceleration and speed. Standard BMW ‘Iconic-Sounds’ Electric enables integration of new sound variants produced as part of a collaboration with film music composer Hans Zimmer. The iX will be green in both its production and materials used. BMW iX xDrive40 (326hp) starts @ €85,815 OTR – Electric power consumption of 22.5 – 19.4 kWh/100 km. Range of up to 414 km (WLTP). Peak torque of 630 Nm (464 lb-ft) Acceleration (0-100km/h) 6.1 seconds. Combined Charging Unit enables charging at DC fast-charging stations up to battery charge up to 150 kW to 80% in 31 minutes in the BMW iX xDrive40.
